For Germany and Austria

Every subscription. Every deadline. From your inbox.

Jenda reads your invoice emails, not your bank account. It finds the subscriptions you forgot about and shows you plainly what they cost per year.

The problem

The expensive ones only hit once a year.

Monthly charges get noticed. Annual contracts do not. They renew quietly, usually weeks before you think about them. Those are exactly the ones Jenda finds, because every renewal sends an email.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs on its own.

  1. 1

    Connect your inbox

Connect Gmail once via OAuth. Read access, nothing more. If you would rather not connect, forward invoices to your personal Jenda address instead.

  2. 2

    Jenda reads the invoices

Provider, amount, billing cycle and start date are pulled from the email. The message content is deleted after processing.

  3. 3

    You decide what stays

Yearly costs at a glance, a reminder before every charge, and you see immediately which subscription eats the most.

Product

This is what it looks like.

Check quickly on your phone, sort things out on your desktop. Both show the same state.

You know what you spend

Monthly and yearly costs at a glance. No more surprises.

What we are building

Finding them is half the work. Cancelling is the other half.

A list of your subscriptions saves no money. Only a sent cancellation does. That is what we are building right now: deadlines under German and Austrian law, plus the finished letter.

In progress

Deadlines, not reminders

Other apps remind you three days before the charge. Too late. Jenda will count backwards from the renewal date and reach out while you can still act.

In progress

Letter included

Cancellation text with your contract details, the provider's address and the date, as a PDF to send or print.

In progress

Find the cancellation button

Since July 2022 every German online provider must offer a cancellation button. Jenda will link straight to it where one exists.

These three features are not live yet. What already works today: finding subscriptions in your inbox, seeing yearly costs and getting reminded before every charge.

Privacy

We need your inbox, not your bank account.

Most subscription managers ask for bank access through third parties such as Plaid. For a simple subscription overview that is out of proportion. Every charge sends an email anyway.

Verified by Google

Gmail access runs through a restricted scope. It is only granted after passing a security review and has to be confirmed again every year.

Hosted in the EU

Servers and database in the European Union. GDPR compliant, no data selling, no advertising.

Read only, then deleted

Jenda cannot send, change or delete emails. The content is discarded after processing; what stays is provider, amount and date.

Questions

Answered briefly.

What exactly does Jenda see in my inbox?

Jenda looks for invoices, payment confirmations and renewal notices. Private messages are not processed. Access is read only; Jenda cannot send or delete anything.

Does it work without Gmail?

Yes. You get a personal Jenda address and forward invoices there. Works with any provider. Outlook and IMAP are in progress.

Does Jenda cancel for me?

Not yet. The cancellation helper is in progress. The plan: Jenda drafts the letter with your contract details and links to the cancellation button where one exists. You send it yourself, so the cancellation is unambiguously from you.

What happens to my data if I leave?

Delete your account and everything goes. You can revoke Gmail access separately at any time directly in your Google account.
